22 March 2017 – Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Arab Corridor, Crucifixion Walk

Hello Jerusalem!  I am finally here and it is by far more beautiful than I ever imagined!  Standing on the Mount of Olives overlooking the Old City (where the Dome of the Rock is located) was an incredible experience.  We walked to the Garden of Gethsemane, and onwards through the city of Jerusalem – stopping at each of the points that Jesus stopped during the last day of his crucifixion. A lot was going on during our tour – and it was A LOT to take in at one time.

We not only learned about the biblical events that happened during the time of Christ, but also about the current relations between Jews, Christians, and Muslims.  Today will defiantly be a day to remember!  Oh yeah, and we tried our first Jerusalem Bagels!
